What a year it's been!

It was SO nice to receive a Christmas blessing from one of our long-time DireWolf Dog owners.

“Hi Kids!

What a year its been - for all of us! Thanks to you both. You’ve made mine & a whole lot of other peoples better! I hope you both have a very Happy holiday season & do something out of your normal routine to make it special! I’m sending a little something for when you need to do another road trip rescue - that is not part of your business but I think we are all grateful (including the dogs) that you will go and get them! You are both very special people - not only with big hearts but its a very smart business move! The things you do are what set you apart form others and it won’t go unnoticed. Love you both - Have a very Merry Christmas & a healthy, prosperous New Year! XO”

We are thankful that the heartfelt work we do to be there for the life for our precious furry friends and their families should they find themselves in need has made a real difference in many lives. It is truly our honor.

We sure were busy last year!

In 2023, Jay and I:

1. Had five 10’x30’ carports installed in early March.
2. Transitioned the dogs from the temporary kennels to the permanent larger kennel space.
3. Raised FIVE litters for a total of THIRTY-SIX puppies.
4. Rescued Max.
5. Doubled the size of the Dire Wolf Project website which now has one of the largest dog breed websites out there with 668 pages of articles and information.
6. Wrote 244 Inner Circle newsletters to our loyal email subscribers.
7. Produced 139 videos and increased our YouTube subscribers from 0 to 612.
8. Partnered with Embark Veterinary, NuVet Labs, and Kuranda Beds in order to bring you the best options for your beloved furry companions.
9. Won TWO business awards for excellence and were nominated for a third.
10. Moved our entire living space to a new area to be closer to the dogs.
11. Completed Vlad’s mobility service dog training through the DireWolf Guardians American Dirus Dog Training Program and transitioned him to his new person, a disabled Marine veteran in Texas.
12. Traveled a combined sum of around 40,000 miles delivering puppies right to the doorsteps of their new homes!

This coming year is not going to slow down for us over here at the Dire Wolf Project!

We have many more exciting things for you already in the works.

I am in the process of writing the “Canine Culture Shock” puppy training and video series… the first ever puppy training book written specifically for the sensitive, gentle, calm type of puppy that gets overlooked by the rambunctious, outgoing, bold working type puppy training materials.

Jay is finishing up his “Abbot and the Stone” medieval adventure story.

LaBrea Evans is going to take the whole of dogdom by storm, redefining how one enters the Dire Wolf Project’s Inner Circle… It could possibly change email welcome sequences in other companies once they begin to realize how powerful Netflix binge-style, choose-your-own email adventures can be! I can’t wait.

Once the new and engaging email welcome sequence is complete, I will then seek to increase our presence as a guest speaker on other platforms. We hope to increase our Inner Circle email subscription to over 5,000 loyal fans by the end of 2024.

Similarly, it is our goal to acquire over 1,000 subscribers to our YouTube channel and be eligible for monetization. This will require many more great videos for everyone! So we can all look forward to that!

The inside of the dog cabins will get an overhaul this year.

Plus, we are hoping to finally set up the entirety of the water catchment system. If this plan is able to come about, the dogs will catch their own water, which will then be gravity fed to them year round! That’ll be a major blessing if we can pull it off.

We have many amazing litters planned for this year, including more BLACK DIRE WOLF possibilities and WOLF MASK beauties!

If money isn’t as tight as it was this year, we hope to finance a new-to-us Chrysler Pacifica that will be able to take the place of our 2017 Pacifica with over 350,000 miles on it! (PHEW! That’s a LOT of driving!)

The Surrogate Breeder Program™ is also on our mind. Hopefully we’ll be able to get the details of that worked out this year. We’ll need our lawyers to look over the material to make sure everything is in order. If we can polish up the process AND we have the market for it… this one-of-a-kind, dog culture-altering breeding program will literally revolutionize how dogs are bred and sold in the United States… keeping dogs out of shelters and in loving homes where they belong!

There are so MANY wonderful and exciting things coming up this year for the Dire Wolf Project.

This STRONGBRED™ movement is just getting started!

Eventually, we hope to change forever the way dogs are bred in order to insist upon better health, longevity, and stable temperaments throughout the dog breeding world.

We must continue to be open and honest, speaking the truth in love, especially when it is tough or unpopular to do so.

We REFUSE to allow any of our American Dirus dogs to find themselves in a shelter or pound. Instead, we rescue ALL American Dirus dogs in need. We believe ALL breeders should take back and shelter any of their dogs who find themselves without a home. We live by that code of honor.

But it isn’t easy to take care of their many needs, especially the older ones or the dogs that need medication.
